2) Rise at or before Sunrise: Photo Journal 366 Days of Sunrises and/or Related Topics

2)  Rise at or before sunrise.  Photo Journal the sunrise and/or creatively capture “the moment” and Blog about it daily!  Depending on my schedule and the weather, I may photo journal it and blog later in the day or week, but I will photo journal at sunrise each day!

It is pretty obvious I am “checking” this To Do off one day at a time!

It has not been easy but I am 81 days in and 265 to go!  I did miss one Sunrise however.  This past week I was so sick with whatever the bronchial flu was going around that I slept past sunrise because of the NyQuil I downed at 4am.  I should have taken DayQuil at that time.  Then there are the days I shoot from the window and go back to bed.  Again, days I either had very little sleep or I was sick.  On those days I succeed at snapping the sunrise at official sunrise but I lose out on experiencing the wonderful gifts of nature!  Today was a day I almost went back to bed.  The thick fog was a clear indicator that there would be no colorful sunrise, then it hit me.  A photo I uploaded to the Cape Cod Times on January 26th picked twice for Top Ten photos. In February for Top Ten Winter and in March for Top Ten Sunrise.  I pushed myself and took the dogs to Cotuit and saw a beautiful foggy sunrise over Princess Cove!

This is getting hard.  Waking up for a 6:57am sunrise is harder than 7:08 and 7:09am sunrises.  What did I get myself into?  I dread the thought of 6am sunrises, never mind 4:06am by mid-June.  OUCH!!

One week down.  I like the sun is rising after 7am.  I am a bit nervous about the 4:00 and 5:00 sunrises.    358 to go…..
