53. Learn how to use my new video camera and then do something with it!
CHECK!
I bid on a beautiful holiday wreath at Christmas. It came with a variety of gift certificates and a camera. Thinking it was a point and shoot, I bid on it so I could give it to David as his camera was old and failing. It wasn’t a point and shoot camera, it was a point and shoot Flip Video!
Not knowing what I was going to do with it, I put it away. That is until several weeks ago when there was a need for a videographer at my Toastmaster’s meeting. I volunteered knowing it would force me to learn how to use it. Which I did. Two meetings in a row!
Then, just this week, my sister-in-law asked me to help her create a video for her KickStarter project! She wrote a children’s book with a really simple yet powerful message and she is self-publishing!

This is Josh, the little boy who teaches us that we do not need a lot of "Stuff" before we can do what we love! Mary's artwork from her manuscript!
The Flip Video is easy to use. Now I need to figure out how to take more professional looking videos and edit them!
