42. Connect with at least three friends from the past for whom I have not seen or talked with in a long time!

I re-connected with my friend Christine [Tina] Wagner! She offered to volunteer for the 2012 Youth Summit which brought her to my house for a planning meeting. It was so good to catch up and laugh!!! Photo at the bottom of post. The day of the Summit I watched her in action! She is a true leader and wonderful friend. I am so glad we re-connected. We have plans to get together again soon!

Wow! I am so excited! I met two of my number 42s this week!
I spent the most wonderful evening with my friend Lori last night! I have not seen Lori in such a long time. We have run into each other professionally at meetings recently and each time I saw her it made me realize how much I miss her!
We tried to get together a few times over the past two years and “things” kept getting in the way. Last night we finally made it happen! We met for a glass of wine, caught up, reminisced, laughed, and even got a bit teary eyed at times. All good! We then decided that we have to pull our little group of 6 together for dinner and plan a day hike up Mt. Monadnock – a trip we took our kids on years ago. A trip that was truly “A TRIP!”.

Today, I had a meeting with a friend from my old neighborhood. We raised our kids together and did ladies nights out for years! Christine [aka Tina] offered to help volunteer on a project I am working on with my CLI team [Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod and the Islands.
Christine and I hung out at my house, caught up on life and had some great laughs! She even said…”Hey, I had one of my number 42s this week too!”
Funny how my To-Do list created a code for getting together with old friends for whom we have not seen in a while.
One more to go and I can say “CHECK” to number 42!
