Today is actually July 22, 2012.
I am back dating this post as I guess my last post on 6/21/2012 I really did take a break! I have worked long days (9 to 16 hours) since June 11, 2012 and have been unable to catch up on my blog.
As an Admission Nurse at Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, I completed orientation classes, went out in the field with preceptors to observe and learn how to document in the computer system. I actually did my first SOLO visit yesterday and it was very rewarding!
In addition to my new job, my husband and I accepted an offer on our house and signed an agreement to buy an Antique on 6A in Barnstable Village! I am truly blessed. I LOVE my new job and I know I am going to LOVE my new home! Big Happenings this year! And, I am praying that once I get a handle on the computer system at work, not all work days will be so long! The good news is….it doesn’t feel like work! Good thing I love computer technology!
When I am not working or sleeping, I am up at sunrise every morning! Some days I shoot from the window but most mornings I take a walk or a drive to find the perfect spot.
To catch up on the sunrise shots, I will post several slide shows per Blog post with a quote per day. Here is June 22 and 23.

June 23, 2012:
“To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter… to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird’s nest or a wildflower in spring – these are some of the rewards of the simple life. ”
~ John Burroughs
